It consisted primarily of interviews with breast cancer survivors and  I shot it on one of VR's </font><font><font><font color="#E00000">RED ONE</font></font></font><font color="#E6E6E6"> cameras. We wanted to have a soft background and the </font><font><font><font color="#E00000">RED ONE</font></font></font><font color="#E6E6E6"> super 35mm sensor allowed us to use 35mm lenses which helped create this effect. In order to give the project a more filmic look we also utilized 35mm prime lenses combined with the P&amp;S Technic Pro 35Digital Image Converter. This means that their meter readers will soon be out of a job. In order to give meter readers an idea of the different job opportunities open to them within the company Powell Productions produced a DVD highlighting 20 different jobs they might apply for. That is the reason they went with the black limbo look. I decided to go with large soft sources to light the talent which gave them a little bit of modeling without any harsh shadows. They use pick up crews in the locations they are shooting, as many of the pieces take them to lots of different locations. I've worked with them on some of their LA shoots. Interviews are usually shot with two cameras or three cameras - one or two on sticks and one a hand held rover. The style is to have lots of movement, even in shooting the interviews, when the cameras are on sticks. </span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(230, 230, 230);">I was DP for the LA segments of this story, both interviews and B-roll. I also shot the LA game footage. There was a lot of hand held work and we worked very quickly. These were &quot;ultra&quot; low budget but were still a lot of fun to do.
